All Osprey Sailing Dinghies for sale
Sturdy, early 1970s GRP Osprey, similar in style to the Wayfarer, but longer, leaner and faster. I have used this Osprey since 2013, mostly for singlehanded day cruising. I boxed-in the aft deck with dry lockers and cockpit drains and replaced the self-bailers. Two old mainsails, still usable, one with a deep reef that keeps the boat manageable for singlehanding in a breeze. The trapeze wires are fitted. Genoa; and spinnaker dated with measurer's mark, 1986!

Terry Greaves built, fully reconditioned wooden Mk III Osprey. Regular class competitor through the 1980's and 1990's with a good race record. Dry stored for well over a decade the boat has been subjected to a full refurbishment outside and in using Epifanes 2 pack systems as well as West system resins where required. New running rigging including dyneema where required and partial standing rigging. Milanes Centreboard, Yachtspeed rudder stock and blade. Battlestick tiller extension.

Mk III built 1982 by Westerly Boats/Martin Creasy, measurement completed July 1984.
Shell: GRP , Deck: Wood
2 main sails, 2 jib sails, 2 spinnaker sails. 1 set for competitive use are in very good condition, 1 set for practising in fair condition.
The varnish on the front deck has peeled, the wood may require replacing in this area.
Has a top cover but some straps may need replacing.
Includes road trailer and launching trolley.
