Guillemot - Devon Yawl No 353
Guillemot is the only GRP "yawl" hull built by John Lack with a Bermudan rig. This means she has all of the fine sailing qualities of this much-loved south-devon day-sailor without the extra length of a traditional yawl so her 16ft length will often fit on pontoon moorings where there is a size limit.
Currently lying in Salcombe, this comfortable and stable boat makes a lovely estuary sailor with all the family on board and doubles as a launch for a day out on the beach with picnic hampers and everybody's favourite toys.
Guillemot comes with a self-tacking jib, spinnaker and a 3.5 hp Tohatsu 2-stroke engine.
She is in good condition with a white hull and duck egg blue deck with teak finishes.
A braked piggy-back trailer is also included.
For anyone who wants to race her in a class fleet I have a second-hand mast and boom which would enable her conversion to the class standard yawl rig.
Guillemot has been priced very keenly to sell.
