This is a 2001 boat and has been very well cared for. It has two sets of sails, the original Hyde class sails which are old but perfectly usable (these are the blue ones in the pics) and a set custom made by Grant Piggott (the black ones) which are like new (about 4 years old). The GP sails are not class legal but OK for handicap racing where you will have to race as a Spitfire S. I bought a new spinnaker (from GP) about 6 years ago which is in very good condition with no holes or repairs. The rigging was all replaced about 4 years ago and is in good condition. It is a twin trapeze boat and the trapeze wires have all been replaced by dyneema within the last 2 years. It has a new carbon tiller and a new tiller cross bar. Mainsheet blocks are Harken and the spinaker halyard is controlled through a spinlock. The dagger boards and rudders are in good condition and all have bags. There is a second set of daggers that have been slightly dinged but are easily repaired. The boat has the original trampoline which is a bit tired but perfectly serviceable with the new Whiteformula lashing system which prevents the eyes from pulling out. Included in the price is a full cover, a serviceable road trailer with a spare wheel, a big wheel launching trolley and hull buckets to keep the hulls off the stones. This is a really fantastic boat to sail. Its fast and exciting and a brilliant introduction to full size 3 sail catamaran sailing, flying nearly 40 square metres of sail downwind. Selling because I haven't been able to find a regular crew so shes not been out for more than a year. I raced this boat regularly until last year in club races on Bala lake and will be sorry to see it go. Price dropped for a quick sale.
