Description

RS Aero 9 fitted with Glide Free Foils and brand new main as per many RYA and holiday sailing centres , the boat hull number 998 was a pre-production aero produced by RS and as such is stiffer and lighter than a series boat (has more carbon in layup) and ideal for learning foiling. The foils were purchased from Glide Free Foils in Australia https://www.glidefree.com.au/aero-foils at £3K and come complete with all storage bags and also a conversion kit for use on a laser dinghy.

The transom has had toggler bolts inserted to spread the load of the rudder foil and is also of a stiffer than normal.
The boat includes a full set of normal foils (unused) , brand new mainsail(9) and spare mainsail (9) and has also been upgraded with the new RS deck ring and new toe strap.

Also includes top cover and launching trolley.

Great boat and a huge amount of fun to be had and can easily be sailed conventionally for club racing by removing the centreboard insert (under 2 mins.) The best value foiling boat on the market.
