16 foot Falmouth Bass Boat for sale. GRP hull. Original gelcoat. In excellent condition, great inventory, ready to go for the new season. Most reluctant sale enforced by ill health. Gaff yawl rig, tan sails, easily handled and can be insured for up to six miles offshore. Rig includes halliards, sheets and jackstays for main (which is gunter shape so has a high peak). Mizzen is self tacking. Inventory includes; Mariner F4MH 4 stroke outboard (purchased 2016) on outboard stand with under ten hours running, serviced, housed in an inboard well with extended range tank; heavy metal centreplate with geared cable for raising and lowering, a range of fenders, anchor plus chain, oars and rowlocks, bilge pump (new 2018). Serviceable road/launching trailer with spare wheel, brand new recovery winch, spare tyre, light board and all required straps. There is also a wooden cross brace to prevent the travel straps from squashing the hull. We've spent some time arranging the rollers to exactly fit the underwater profile. Waterproof cover. Vessel has two built-in buoyancy tanks.

Two unsorted niggles - top batten pocket needs restitching, and jockey wheel gear needs attention.

The vessel has a custom built rudder stock which carries the tiller up and clear of the outboard housing. There is also the previous rudderstock for use if you are sailing without the outboard.

For an offer at/close to the asking price, add in an electric 12 V recovery winch (original box - never used).

This is a fabulous craft with potential for rivers, coastal and estuary cruising - they can even be fitted with a cuddy - or a boom up tent for dinghy cruising.
